Initially valued by sailors for rain protection, waxed cotton quickly gained favor with hunters, shepherds, and farmers. Waxed cotton is a cotton fabric with a waxed surface, making it an excellent water-resistant material. It is also very robust and durable. In our "Landeck" shoulder bag, we combine our loden with this ingenious all-weather fabric, using it particularly where extra water protection is welcome.

The bag’s lid, bottom, and sides are made of genuine English waxed cotton, while the other exterior parts are crafted from loden. The combination of genuine leather, waxed cotton, and pure virgin wool in the loden creates something special: you can tell the bag is made from the best materials. The main compartment of the bag, lined with pocket lining, has a volume of approximately 10 liters. In addition to this main compartment, the bag has seven other pockets. Two are located at the front, secured with flap and Velcro closures, and another large compartment with a zipper is on the back side. There are two additional narrow, open pockets on each side for quickly accessible items. Inside, there are two more open pockets made of lining fabric. The grippy 4 cm wide carrying strap made of cotton webbing is adjustable in length with a slider.
