From spring to autumn: Our Loden Windbreaker
As a slightly lighter counterpart to our Huber and Wally models, this jacket is made from cloth loden. Unlike loden fleece, cloth loden is distinguished by its thinner, less fluffy material. It is somewhat less warm but particularly wind-resistant, as the nap (the felted surfaces on both sides) lies very densely on the fabric. Due to the extremely good climate properties of loden, the jacket is very suitable for a wide range of temperatures. While hiking, trekking, or just during leisure time, it keeps you warm and balances body temperature by absorbing moisture, providing good breathability, and offering excellent wind resistance. The material offers enough insulation in many situations without needing an additional layer. Only when it gets really cold does it require external support in the form of another jacket. Some relevant measurements are given twice (e.g., 116/106). The first value refers to the measurement of the garment, the second to your body measurement. This way, you can either measure yourself or compare it to your favorite jacket. The difference between body measurement and garment is approximately 10 cm.
Chest:
The chest measurement describes the chest circumference of the jacket as well as the body chest circumference. The chest circumference is the most important measurement. If the chest is too tight, the rest usually doesn't fit well either.
Waist:
The waist measurement describes the waist circumference of the jacket as well as the body waist circumference. If your waist is narrower, this usually matters less than the chest circumference.
Sleeve length:
The table indicates the sleeve length of the loden jacket, measured from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem.
Back length:
The back length is measured from the bottom of the collar and indicates the length of the jacket.

Our loden is made from 100% pure virgin wool, is breathable, warm, and very robust. The natural product loden requires little care: odors disappear in fresh air, and dirt can be allowed to dry and then brushed out. What makes our loden particularly special are its climate properties. The dense weave of the loden and the fine nap on the surface make the jacket nearly resistant to wind penetration – and all without membranes! And precisely because we don't need to use membranes, the loden remains highly breathable and ensures an optimal interior climate.Fit Information
The jacket has a comfortable cut and provides sufficient freedom of movement, making it especially comfortable to wear during sporting activities or outdoor pursuits. The fit is rather generous. The sleeves, as befits an outdoor jacket, are somewhat longer and can be adjusted with the Velcro at the cuffs so they don't slip down too far. If you are between two sizes, we recommend ordering the smaller size. However, you are welcome to call us, and we will advise you regarding the fit!Size Chart
