Warm and breathable jacket made of Loden fleece

The Kragenhuber has a comfortable fit and the same pleasant climate properties as our other jackets made from STEINKAUZ Loden fleece. Practical is the high-closing stand-up collar, which can be additionally sealed with a drawstring. Four exterior zip pockets provide ample storage space. The jacket has adjustable sleeve cuffs with Velcro closures and a 2-way zipper for maximum comfort.

Thanks to the extremely good climate properties of Loden fleece, the jacket is very well-suited for a wide temperature range. Whether hiking, trekking, or simply in leisure activities, it keeps you warm and regulates body temperature by absorbing moisture, providing good breathability, and offering excellent wind resistance. When the first cool days of autumn arrive, it's time for STEINKAUZ Loden fleece. The material provides enough insulation in many situations without the need for an additional layer. Only when it gets really cold does it require external support in the form of a winter jacket. From spring into cooler summer evenings, the jacket is in its element.

Loden is sustainable

Wool is a renewable resource and biodegradable. As a pure natural fiber, it does not remain in the ecosystem, causing no harm. Our Loden is manufactured in Germany and is not only produced fairly but also meets the highest quality standards. Its compliance with the Ökotex 100 standard is a matter of course.

The perfect outdoor material: STEINKAUZ loden fleece

Our Loden fleece is made from 100% pure virgin wool, is breathable, warm, and robust. Thanks to the elaborate double-sided brushing process of the Loden, the fabric is pleasantly soft and highly comfortable to wear. The natural Loden material requires minimal care: odors disappear in fresh air, and stains can be dried and brushed out. What makes our special Loden fleece unique are its climate properties. The dense weave of double-faced Loden and the fine pile on the surface make the jacket nearly resistant to wind penetration, all without the need for membranes! Fit Information

The jacket has a comfortable cut, providing ample freedom of movement, making it particularly pleasant to wear during sports activities or outdoor pursuits. The sleeves, as is appropriate for an outdoor jacket, are slightly longer and can be adjusted with the Velcro closure at the cuff to prevent them from sliding down too far. Consider whether and what you plan to wear under the jacket and choose the size accordingly.

Size Chart Explanations

The measurements refer to the jacket itself. It is advisable to compare these with a well-fitting jacket you already own.

Chest:
The chest measurement describes the chest circumference of the jacket and is the most important measurement. If the chest is too tight, the rest usually does not fit well either.

Waist:
The waist measurement describes the waist circumference of the jacket. If your waist is narrower, this is usually less critical than the chest measurement.

Sleeve length:
The sleeve length in the table indicates the length of the jacket sleeve, measured from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem.

Back length:
The back length value is measured from the bottom edge of the collar and indicates the length of the jacket.
