Our absolute favorite hunting socks made of Merino wool
Good wool socks and warm functional underwear complement our loden clothing perfectly. However, we are not sock specialists and do not intend to become one, as it would require knitting skills. So we contacted the sympathetic Allgäu-based company VEITH, which has been manufacturing socks in Germany for three generations. They specialize solely in socks and do so with perfection. We have been wearing these socks ourselves for a long time and are so impressed by them that we are now delighted to include them in our range and offer them to our quality-conscious customers.
The sock is made of Merino virgin wool, with 7% polyamide and 3% elastane added for shape retention. It leaves no pressure or friction marks, does not constrict but also does not slip down. The sock's cuff is non-binding. The foot section is equipped with a dense, insulating, and cushioning plush sole on the outside.
The "strong" variant is a very thick sock for winter! We offer it in sizes 36/37-46/47 in the color walnut. Alternatively, we also offer the "light" sock for transitional seasons.
