It is the heartfelt desire of many hunters, but let's be honest: For how many of us has the "fox blanket" project failed due to time and effort, turning into a Tower of Babel that was never completed?
The dear wife, who has so often let us go without complaint, under the pretense of one day returning with this hard-earned culmination of predator game management, may not have revealed it, but in truth, she has long forgiven the diligent huntsman, knowing that the long-awaited masterpiece will probably never grace the home fireplace. And the honorable hunter must also self-reflect and ask how often he has pardoned a red fox, hoping for the old buck, the mature stag, or the old cautious bass (and how often he nostalgically thought back to Reinecke's early evening visits after a cold, sleepless night - and to the saying of Diana's chalice).
This wonderful blanket is handcrafted for us by the renowned furrier Leonhard Hofstetter in the Bavarian Forest, showcasing impeccable craftsmanship. What makes our model truly special is the high-quality, soft cloth loden selected specifically for the backside of these blankets. An absolute highlight on the sofa in front of the fireplace, providing cozy warmth even on the most inhospitable winter evenings, even if the hunting lodge has not yet been properly heated by the fireplace at the beginning of the hunting weekend. With its dimensions of approximately 140 x 200 cm, it offers ample coverage to protect even long legs from the cold. And only we and the furrier know that the foxes do not come from you personally, and we promise not to reveal it to the dear wife!
