The silent universal binocular protection
Those who venture outdoors in rain and snow are familiar with the problem: Just when a quick look through the binoculars is needed, one discovers that raindrops have collected on the eyepieces, hindering our view and potentially affecting our hunting luck. Traditional protective caps provide a solution, if they stay in place properly. However, they have a significant drawback: When looking through the binoculars, they often hang in front of the mouth or nose. Exhaled breath, particularly in cold weather, swirls around and causes the eyepieces to fog up. The Waldkauz binocular protection puts an end to this annoyance. The eyepieces are covered by a soft leather flap, providing optimal protection against all types of precipitation. A thin lead hem is incorporated at the outer end of the protective flap, securely holding it over the eyepiece. With a small flick of the wrist, the hem swings forward, silently uncovering the optics without having to take the hand off the binoculars. The Universal model of the eyepiece protection is held in place by two elastic straps that are pulled over the eyepieces. Universal Binocular Protection For all hunting binoculars that do not fit the other two models, there is a universally adaptable protective flap that is attached to the eyepieces using two rubber loops, making it suitable for any binocular design. It is suitable, for example, for the EL series by Swarovski and some Minox binoculars that have a second hinge in the objective lens area, making the use of the Deluxe model impossible, as well as for all Porro prism binoculars (the classic field glasses), such as the Swarovski Habicht or the Night Hunter by Steiner.
