Loden Fleece Fabric, Moss Green Our WALDKAUZ Loden Fleece is our most elaborate and expensive type of loden. It is made from a material known as double-faced loden, which is additionally fluffed to achieve exceptional softness. The double-faced structure brings about particularly high density, and despite the misleading name, the fluffing process makes it exceptionally soft and fluffy. Consequently, Loden Fleece provides exceptional warmth and is even comfortable to wear directly against the skin, which isn't always the case with virgin wool. Additionally, the fabric offers an optimal balance between warmth and breathability. Since virgin wool has the ability to absorb moisture during rain and still provide warmth even when wet, wearing a jacket made of Loden Fleece can be comfortable for quite some time in the rain before it becomes unpleasant. Loden Fleece is excellent for crafting lightweight jackets, soft, warm blankets, capes, pillows, and anything that requires softness coupled with excellent warmth properties.
