The bag made of waxed cotton is lined with inner fabric and has a drawstring at the top opening that is closed by a cord stopper. With the genuine leather loop on the back, the bottle bag can be attached to almost any belt and combined with other Modulus pouches. This way, in addition to smaller gear, the water bottle is always within reach and doesn’t need to be pulled out of a backpack.
Which bottles fit in the bag?
Almost all water bottles that make sense to carry on a belt will fit. Smaller 500 ml bottles usually disappear completely into the bottle bag, while slightly larger ones with 700, 800 ml, or even 1 L have their necks sticking out of the opening. Here, the drawstring is simply closed around the neck of the bottle. Even a classic 1L PET bottle and even a 1.5L PET sparkling water bottle fit, although the practicality of carrying 1-1.5 kg of water on a belt is questionable. A common question is about the 1L Nalgene® bottles. Yes, they fit too, but as snugly as in a wetsuit, making them hard to remove. This doesn’t make much sense in our opinion, not least for the previously mentioned reasons: who wants to attach 1-1.5 kg of water to their belt? The bottle holder is perfect, however, for "normal" formats such as a Nalgene® Everyday with 700 ml, a Klean Kanteen with 500 or 800 ml, or the good old 0.6L or 1L SIGG® aluminum bottle. To be sure if your bottle fits in the bag, the simplest method is to measure the circumference. Anything not exceeding 28 cm fits well, with 29 cm being the absolute limit.
