Cartridge Case "Mountain Rifle"

This space-saving designed cartridge case for the mountain rifle holds five large-caliber rifle cartridges in the common calibers used here, as well as 6 smaller cartridges such as .22 Win Mag, .22 Hornet, or 56x50/52, or .222 Remington. Inside, the cartridge case is designed in such a way that the different cartridges are positioned opposite each other, so that they each find space in the gaps of the others. As a result, the case does not add much bulk and fits well in the pocket of your hunting jacket. The closure is the same as our 5-cartridge case "Rifle" and is secured by a sturdy leather strap that slides under the lid of the case. The leather belt loop on the back offers the option to carry the ammunition on a belt or, if necessary, integrate it into our Modulus hunting belt system.

Fit of our cartridge loops

With few exceptions, we work with three loop diameters that cover almost all common calibers. Here is a range from-to with typical calibers that can be compared well with your own caliber:

Small loop (small caliber): from .22 lfb to .222 or 5.6x50
Used, for example, in the cartridge cases "Drilling" as the smallest loop (e.g., for .22 Win. Mag., .22 Hornet, .222 Rem.)

Medium loop (large bullet): .222 or 5.6x50 to .338 Win Mag
Suitable for the "normal" hunting calibers commonly used in Germany (e.g., 5.6x50 R Mag., 7x65 R, 8x57 IS, .308 Win, .30-06, .375 H&H, 7mm Remington Mag., etc.)

Large loop (shotshell): from Cal. 20 to Cal. 12
Caliber 20 fits a bit looser than calibers 16 and 12 but is also compatible.
