Both compartments are equipped with concealed zippers and easy-to-use leather pulls. The main compartment has a side open pocket for dog waste bags, which can be pulled out through a leather outlet on the side of the bag. The main compartment is suitable for a dog leash, training dummies, smaller retrieving items, or personal belongings. The flat compartment can accommodate smaller items such as a dog whistle, clicker, or mobile phone, or it can be used as a treat reservoir, eliminating the need for a separate treat bag.
Material, craftsmanship, and accessories of the "Beuteltier" waist bag
We craft the "Beuteltier" waist bag using 8 oz waxed cotton, greased nubuck leather, and loden fabric. The interior is lined with a lightweight yet sturdy pocket lining. The waxed cotton fabric is water-resistant and can be re-waxed if needed using common wax products (such as Dr. Gee's Cotton Wax, available in our shop), similar to the classic English waxed jackets. On the back made of loden fabric, there are two wide leather belt loops that allow for attachment to your own belt or sliding onto a strap, such as the Modulus belt. Alternatively, there are two D-rings on the sides where an optional shoulder strap can be attached, transforming the "Beuteltier" waist bag into a shoulder bag.
