Our WALDKAUZ loden vest is made of high-quality loden fabric from pure virgin wool. It is trimmed with soft nappa leather on the collar, armholes, pockets, and shoulders. Whether on the hunt or at the shooting range, you are well equipped for a safe shot with the large pockets for shotgun ammunition and the leather shoulder patch. The vest can be adjusted and tailored with genuine buffalo horn buttons on the side tabs, depending on whether you wear a sweater in winter or a blouse or shirt in the transitional seasons. The colorful combination also makes the loden vest perfect for everyday wear. Our high-quality loden is a classic, stylish, and above all warm material. And since loden is very durable, you can use your loden hunting vest in various ways. Small stains can simply be brushed off. The vest features a detachable collar made of genuine red fox fur. The foxes used for our collars come exclusively from hunting and are not farm-raised foxes. We work closely with German tanners and fur traders who receive pelts from hunters in their region.
Please note: Each fur collar is unique, and just as each fox has individual fur coloring, our collars have a wide range of colors. As standard, we deliver the hunting vest with a reddish collar - for darker collars (see photo), please inquire via email.
