How it all began....
It all started a few years ago during a winter night's boar hunt when an unexpected opportunity to capture a fox arose. Unfortunately, it was ruined by the nervous and not-so-quiet search for the mouse whistle in the depths of my backpack. Reineke caught wind of the situation and made a swift exit.
During the subsequent, grumpy contemplation of cause and effect, the idea for a bag that would provide quick and silent access to all my essential small items during each hunt took shape. The original version of this hunting bag, sewn from an old blanket, impressed other hunters as well, prompting us to decide to produce the bag under the name WALDKAUZ. With that decision, something remarkable was set in motion: more and more "quirky" product ideas emerged. And before we knew it, there was an entire WALDKAUZ family - born from our desire for practical equipment and the joy of hunting and nature.

We resist this trend with our products - driven by our enthusiasm for beautiful and valuable things. Selected natural materials form the basis of all our products: we use the finest mountain loden made from pure virgin wool, wool felt, and genuine leather, along with carefully handcrafted buttons made of real buffalo horn. This attention to detail and perfect functionality, informed by our own hunting experience and ongoing dialogue with our customers and other hunters, is reflected in our designs. Even after years of intensive use, you will still see, feel, and appreciate the WALDKAUZ quality.
